There's no excuse for not being informed! With more people ignoring the TV and getting their news from the web, here are some great sources.
Cain TV
Talk show host and former presidential candidate Herman Cain has an email newsletter that is really pretty good.
Rasmussen Reports
Scott Rasmussen is among the best pollsters. He has a free daily newsletter and is available also by subscription for a more detailed breakdown of results.
The Shark Tank
Florida politics--a great read for a swing state. The Shark Tank was 2011 Blog of the Year at CPAC.
Shadow Government Statistics
SGS or Shadow Stats take raw government stats without the spin. See what's really going on.
The Washington Times
TWT is not new but they have done quite a makeover in the last few years. They have become one of the major conservative news organizations in the country.
Less Government
Seton Motley often focuses on technology issues such as government control of the Internet but his blog covers a wide range of spending issues. Smart commentary, well worth the read.
Political Math
This is a blog. The author has a way of making the huge numbers and ideas real and comprehensible. It can be a bit wonky, but that's one reason I love it.
